National Comprehensive Center for Fathers (NCCF)

Provides motivational and educational workshops with job placement and retention services for fathers over the age of 18 with TANF eligible, minor children. The 5 core direct service units include: Intensive case management and education, job development, mentoring, legal services and attire/grooming services.

Work-Stream

Prepares out-of-school youths and young adults with physical, sensory or learning disabilities, ages 17-30, for employment. Provides a paid work experience leading to job placement; ongoing case management and job coaching.  Trains and educates youth providers in Best Practices to enable youth with disabilities to participate in mainstream programs.

Youth Employment

Offers youth ages 14-21 an array of summer job opportunities that provide career exposure, on the job mentoring, “soft skills” training, and a practical understanding of the working world for six weeks during the months of July and August.

Please note that the Coalition’s recruitment, enrollment, interview and selection process will begin on or after May 1, 2010 this year.  Additional information, application materials and guidelines will not be available until this time.
