The Philadelphia Home•Buy•Now program is a dollar-for-dollar match provided by the City of Philadelphia of up to $5,000. The program is available through participating employers that provide financial assistance to an employee buying a home. Participating employers can contribute up to $5,000 to their employees
Other than requiring that the home be within Philadelphia, Home•Buy•Now funding comes with “no strings attached.”
Employers decide the level of assistance they wish to provide and what employee classifications to include in the program. Many employees will also be eligible for an additional $2,000 in state aid. With the new feature of developers providing up to $7,500 in discounts, homebuyers could have up to $17,500 contributed towards the cost of their home.

- You must be employed with one of the participating employers (each employer has unique eligibility requirements).
- The new home must be within Philadelphia County.
- There are no income limits for this program.

How do I become a participating employer?
A team of Philadelphia Home-Buy-Now experts will work with you to create a customized program for your employees. Programs can be tailored to help encourage employees to live in specific neighborhoods near their workplace.

Encourage your employer to participate. Through the Philadelphia Home•Buy•Now there is a possible $17,500 available in contributions towards the purchase of a new home. You do the math:
- Potential from employer: $5,000
- Match from the City of Philadelphia: $5,000
- Potential discount from participating developers: $7,500
