UAC employees are now financially fit and ready to start a new chapter in their financial lives. Earlier this year, UAC launched a Financial Advancement Network (FAN) Club solely for UAC employees and Program Partners to help them manage their money and control their debt. On February 26, UAC FAN Club members successfully completed their 6 week program.

Shayna Lear, Financial Education Program Manager for the Community and Economic Development (CED) Department, taught FAN Club members how to create and manage budgets, improve spending habits, and better understand taxes. "Before the FAN Club, I had challenges saving my money; now I'm able to pay my bills and still have money to save," said FAN Club member and UAC Program Partner Assistant Francis Westley

UAC’s FAN Club teaches employees and Program Partners how to be financially literate and develop proper money management habit. UAC’s CED Department also offers FAN Clubs throughout the Philadelphia region. To learn more about UAC’s FAN Club program, please visit http://fan.uac.org .
