Don Kelly, UAC Community & Economic Development Director Announces Retirement

April 14, 2014

It is with joy and sadness that the Urban Affairs Coalition announces the retirement of Don Kelly, effective May 1, 2014, from his position as Director of UAC's Community and Economic Development (CED) Department. During his 12 year tenure, Don has been integral to the significant growth of CED in terms of both impact and breadth of service. He has played a key role in bridging low and moderate income communities and mainstream financial institutions to bring wealth to underserved communities.

In his retirement, Don will carry on his life's work of teaching with a focus on community revitalization, urban planning, neighborhood economic development and public policy at Eastern University, where he has been a member of the adjunct faculty since 1991. The Coalition is deeply appreciative of Don's outstanding impact, commitment, and dedication to our organization and the Philadelphia community; he will be missed greatly.

Join us as we celebrate Don's retirement on April 28th at PNC Bank, 1600 Market Street. Click here for details and to RSVP.
