Congrats, Vince! 2018 Philadelphia Keeper

Congratulations to Vincent Gumbs Jr., Project Manger at UAC Economic Development Project (EDP), on his nomination into the 2018 Philadelphia Keepers. Vince has been with the Urban Affairs Coalition (UAC) for three years. As a Project Manager for UAC, Vince has the opportunity to put into practice his fascination with construction management, and his passion for helping people, by encouraging the participation of Minorities and Women in the construction industry. Vince’s work within EDP has allowed him the opportunity to assist in economic inclusion on various projects in the region, working with institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Comcast Corporation. Vince continues to serve the community as a 2018 member of Leadership Philadelphia’s Keepers Program, a program that empowers promising leaders in an effort to collaborate on ways to address the issues impacting Philadelphia. Vince delights in serving, God first, then everyone else. Vince holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with a concentration in Business Management, from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. Leadership Philadelphia created the Connectors & Keepers program as an effort to recognize, empower, connect, and retain Philadelphia’s most promising young leaders. Over the course of one year, Keepers will: attend bi-monthly sessions focused on issues impacting Philadelphia, perform Pay It Forward community service projects, work with mentors from the LEADERSHIP Philadelphia alumni network, connect with a diverse group of fellow leaders
