Community and Economic Development (CED) Department Receives $95,000 Grant

The Urban Affairs Coalition (UAC) would like to thank the Citi Foundation for supporting the work of our Community and Economic Development (CED) Department, a core program area of the Coalition. Citi Foundation awarded CED a $95,000 grant to support its Foreclosure Prevention work and Housing Counseling Fund! The Coalition’s CED department brings capital to communities by building bridges between low and moderate income areas and mainstream financial institutions.

The CED Department plans and implements financial education through workshops and the innovative Financial Advancement Network (FAN) Clubs, foreclosure prevention (through consumer education, public policy advocacy, and promotion of helpful products and services), home improvement education and lending, employer-assisted housing and small business lending through a support system for community development financial institutions.
