Education, Children and Youth Committee

GPUAC's Education, Children and Youth Committee (ECY) brings together a diverse group of stakeholders to improve the quality of education in the City of Philadelphia.

ECY identifies the opportunities charter schools represent, the barriers they confront, and what can be done to help them succeed throughout Pennsylvania.   This work began in 1997 when GPUAC hosted the City's first public forum on charter schools.
