Annual Breakfast / Sponsorship

Each November, GPUAC holds its Anniversary Breakfast Celebration, presenting two awards: The Edward G. Rendell "Doer" Award and the Ernest E. Jones Community Leadership Award .  These awards are presented to those people in the community who help make Philadelphia a better place to live, work and play. 

This year's Breakfast was held Friday, November 16, 2007 at 7:45 a.m. at the Loews Hotel in Center City Philadelphia, our new location.

Sponsorships are available in the following categories:

Trustee: $10,000

Sponsor: $5,000

Partner: $3,000

Friend: $1,000

Individual guest subscriptions are also available for $100 per ticket.

During our 9th Annual Breakfast held November 16th, we presented the 2007:

Edward G. Rendell “Doer” Award to Victoria Rowell, Founder of TheRowell Foster Children's Positive Plan and Author of The Women Who Raised Me. The Edward G. Rendell “Doer” Award is presented to an individual who, by his or her actions, has made the communities of Philadelphia a better place to live, work and play.

Ernest E. Jones Community Leadership Award to National Comprehensive Center for Fathers' Kofi Asante, Executive Director. The Ernest E. Jones Community Leadership Award is in honor of a community organization whose volunteers bring about hope, and make change happen.
