To all formerly incarcerated and convicted individuals, you are invited to attend the Mayoral and City Council Forum Candidate Night. Hear candidates speak on job opportunities for convicted individuals and other valuable information.

UAC Program Partner X-Offenders for Community Empowerement will hold a Mayoral and City Council Forum Night on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 6pm-8pm at the African American United Fund Building. X-Offenders invites all formerly incarcerated and convicted individuals to attend this event.

Here's a heads up: Just say yes to joining ODAAT at its office on March 10, 2015 to hear inspirational words from presenter Sgt. Linda Wagner.

On Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 9am-10am, ODAAT will be hosting Heads Up! Just Say No! This is an event that you do not want to miss. Guest speaker Sgt. Linda Wagner will be offering words of inspiration to just say no to drugs. This event will take place at ODAAT's headquarters located on 2532 North Broad Street.

"Love Yourself" Cultural Enrichment Workshop hosted by Ridock King

This cultural enrichment workshop is for middle school age (10-14) Black and Latino males.

On Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 10AM-2PM, Joshua Keller and Mental Ambition, LLC will host a cultural enrichment workshop. This event will take place at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center located on 21st & Cecil B. Moore. This workshop will emphasize the important of self-love and self-esteem through cultural expression. Joshua will discuss African American history, hip-hop, community involvement and health and fitness.

Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) with the Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations (PACDC) will host Making Communities Safe: Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design and Community Collaboration on Thursday, December 4th from 9:30am-12:30pm at the PECO Energy Hall. Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) directly addresses the relationship between the physical environment and the incidence of crime.
