The Philadelphia Development Partnership will host their 6th Annual "Taste of Success" Bake-Off, held at the PNC Bank Center, 16th & Market Streets. They've whipped, they've chopped, they've grilled, and they've garnished. With lots of delicious food to taste, this year everyone can be the judge and vote for their favorite recipe. Admission is $50 per person and $15 per client.

Join Back On My Feet and lace up your sneakers to get ready for their Inaugural Back on My Feet Bash at the World Cafe Live, 3025 Walnut Street & free parking. You can help the homeless get back on their feet by enjoying an evening of food, drinks, live music, dancing, fun contest, inspiring speakers, and a great silent auction...all in your favorite pair of sneakers.

A limited number of tickets can be purchased online. Tickets are $100, which is the cost to add one new member. Corporate tables and sponsorship opportunities are available.

Join After School Activities Partnership (ASAP) for "MLK Jr. Family Chess Day " at the African American Museum of Philadelphia, 701 Arch Street. Come watch ASAP's Chess Challenge Kids checkmate violence in celebration of Dr. King's legacy for lasting, positive change in the community. All are invited to play chess for peace on MLK weekend.

Special guest players: Congressman Chaka Fattah will play mulitple games & City Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown will be challenged by her daughter.

Join the National Center for Comprehensive Fathers on Martin Luther King Day, for "A Day for Father's and Their Children".  Catch all the action at the Pacers vs. 76ers Game at the Wachovia Center. Admission is $45 per ticket for Mezzanine Center level seating. Includes a free hot dog, soda, and bag of popcorn.
